Lazyest Gallery 1.1 beta 1
Lazyest Gallery 1.1 beta 1 is now ready for download at the WordPress Plugin Directory. It took about three months to reach the beta stage. A lot of features have been added, the gallery has been optimized for speed, and some radical changes have been made in the frontend, the admin, and the back-end.
Large Galleries
Loading of large galleries with many sub-folders and images is painstakingly slow in the lazyest gallery admin pages. To accommodate this, a new option 'large gallery' has been added. By selecting this option, all features decreasing the loading speed will be disabled.
Descriptions in thumbnail view
One thing we have forgotten in Lazyest Gallery version 1.0, is the option to display folder and image descriptions in thumbnail view. This has been enabled in version 1.0.2.
Permalinks could not be activated for Lazyest Gallery when wordpress is installed in a subdirectory. A bug in the rewrite rules caused 404 - page not found errors. This bug has been fixed.
Download version 1.0.2 from the WordPress plugin directory or use the plugin update function in your blog Admin.
