Lazyest PreRead is a small plugin that reads image metadata for Lazyest Gallery images. It works only for newly add images. If you want to use it for existing images, just delete the caption.xml file from the folder. Once Lazyest Gallery spots a new image in a folder, it (tries to) read the image metadata to fill the caption, description and date/time fields. The values are stored in the Lazyest Gallery caption.xml file. You can always edit the captions and descriptions in the Lazyest Gallery File Manager.

Prerequisites:

  • WordPress version 3.2 or higher
  • Lazyest Gallery version 1.0.37 .. 1.0.50
    This functionality is built in Lazyest Gallery version 1.1 or higher
