Lazyest Gallery supports shortcodes to display your gallery: [‍lg_gallery] , folder contents: [‍lg_folder], an image: [‍lg_image] or a slide show: [‍lg_slideshow].

• The [‍lg_gallery]shortcode is used on a Page and is the one you will use at least once to display your gallery.You need it on your main gallery page. A gallery page is ready when your content looks like this:

  Options

  The lg_gallery shortcode supports one advanced option:

  • root
    Specify a folder in your gallery to be the root folder for the gallery you are displaying using this shortcode. Images in the root folder will not be displayed.

    [‍lg_gallery root="myfolder"]

• The [‍lg_folder] shortcode is used in a Post or Page to display the contents of a folder.

  Options:

  The folder option is required:

  • folder
    Specify the folder path. Lazyest Gallery will display the images which are stored in this folder. Use the folder path relative to your gallery.

    [‍lg_folder folder="myfolder/dogs/"]

  Some advanced options are also supported:

  • count
    Specify the amount of images to be displayed per page.
    Default: your number of thumbnails setting

    [‍lg_folder folder="myfolder/dogs/" count="12"]

  • cols
    Specify the number of columns for the image display.
    This option only works if you have selected to show image in a <table> element.
    Default: your number of columns setting

    [‍lg_folder folder="myfolder/dogs/" cols="3"]

  • paging
    Specify paging to display the images over several pages. If your set paging to be true, no more than count images will be displayed.
    Default: 'true'

• The [‍lg_image] shortcode is used in a Post or Page to display a single image.

  Options:

  The folder and image options are required:

  • folder
    Specify the folder path relative to your gallery.
  • image
    Specify the image file name.

    [‍lg_image folder="myfolder/dogs/" image="blacky.jpg"]

  Some advanced options are also supported:

  • align
    Specify the alignment for your image, either left, center or right.

    [‍lg_image folder="myfolder/dogs/" image="blacky.jpg" align="center"]

  • caption
    Specify a caption to show below the image.

    [‍lg_image folder="myfolder/dogs/" image="blacky.jpg" caption="woof"]

  • display
    Specify the image size to display, either thumb, slide or image (the original image)

    [‍lg_image folder="myfolder/dogs/" image="blacky.jpg" display="slide"]

• The [‍lg_slideshow] shortcode is used in a Post or a Page to display a slideshow of images in a folder.

  Options:

  The folder option is required.

  • folder
    Specify the folder path relative to your gallery.

    [‍lg_slideshow folder="myfolder/dogs/"]

  An advanced option is also supported:

  • display
    Specify the image size to display, either thumb, slide or image (the original image)
