I would totally love if multisite support, specially for the gallery plugin. I’ve decided to do multisite with all my sites to make things a bit more easier to manage. BTW, I’m not seeing a Donation button…

Can you add an option that lets you automatically start the slideshow when you click on the folder, instead of having to see all of the individual pictures and then click on slideshow?

Hey boys,

thanks for the plugin. I thought this was what I was searching for (a gallery-plugin with automatic directory-support), but unfortunately I had to deactivate it, because it took too much time to load a new directory with new thumbnails.
If you fix this in a update I will reactivate it.

That’s a hard one to crack. Getting image and comment information into the lightbox isn’t so easy.
You could use the Lazyest Slides plugin and select thickbox. The Lazyest Slides tickbox has a link to the image comment area.

Can this plugin be configured to allow people visiting a site to upload their own photos and tag them and comment on them? I am looking for a way for people to visit locations and submit photos per location, put comments against the photos and also write some general text about the overall experience.

I’ve been looking for weeks, and I can’t find a plugin anywhere that will let my clients leave comments on pics while in lightbox view. Lazyest Gallery is the only one I could get to work that even allows comments for individual images, but I know I’ll have clients who are confused about how to find the pic they want to put a comment on, if they’ve been viewing in lightbox view.

I’m so tired and frustrated and discouraged!

Is there ANY way you can add something—or tell ME what to add on my end?—that will allow the comments to show up when in lightbox view?

Hello,

I use https only for my website admin part and your code makes chrome issue a warning as non https content is mixed with secure content.
I identified one (maybe the only, I didn’t checked) issue in “lazyest-gallery/lazyest-gallery.php”
Replace:
$this->plugin_url = path_join( WP_PLUGIN_URL, plugin_basename( dirname( __file__ ) ) );

By:
$this->plugin_url = plugin_dir_url( __file__ );

More generally, to avoid this type of warning, it would be great to replace all the calls to WP_* global variables by dedicated functions appeared in WordPress 2.6.0.

Hello!

I was wondering if the option can be added to open up a link to a website when a photo in a gallery is clicked. Like right now, you can open the full sized image, lightbox, etc…

Could the option also be added to allow cycling through a gallery? So having automatically switching as usual but also having arrows or numbers to go back to other images.

If you click ‘use my theme’, Lazyest Gallery will use style rules in your theme stylesheet. It will not use the LG stylesheet/themes.
The best way to change your gallery styling is by creating your own (child) theme.
Lightbox uses the anchor title. Lazyest Gallery inserts the caption for anchor title.

Maybe he means install it to a static home page? I believe that’s not supported.

Workaround: install to a page that you don’t show in the menu and then include the gallery or slide show short code on your static home page.

Is there any documentation on the themes for Lazyest Gallery? Questions that could be answered:
When I click on “Use my theme”, what do I actually get?
How do I change where the description goes (so the lightbox displays it)?
Where do I put my code for the Extra Fields I added?
Where do I put a new Lazyest Gallery theme so it’s not erased when I upgrade?

Using Extra Fields to show subset of images

Now that Lazyest Gallery has the Extra Fields plugin, could you add a field parameter to the lg_gallery and lg_folder shortcodes, so it would be possible to display a subset of images that match the field?
It could do nothing but apply_filters in the loop of the shortcode itself, and the Extra Fields plugin could use the filter to determine if the image matches.

My goal is to show the progress of a project (remodeling a house), so I want all the images in one folder to show the timeline, but I would like to also show just the kitchen by itself as a timeline, and just the patio by itself as a timeline. If I put them in separate folders, I can’t display them all together without duplicating the images, which I don’t want to do.

I have a Lazyest Gallery using my upload folder, so that I can then have a page that shows ALL photos on the Blog.
Only downside to this is that all the *150×150* (as an example) files are included, so each image is shown upto four times.
