What thumbnail setting do you have?

I can see the folders that say a number of images are available, but when I click the folder thumbnail, no images (or thumbnails) are displayed. No error code is given. What am I missing?

Have you entered correct values for folder and page in Settings >> Lazyest Gallery?

I did exactly whats instructed on this page: http://brimosoft.nl/lazyest/gallery/installation/

But as mentioned in “Step 3″ that there will be a Lazyest Gallery menu, I cant find it.

I am using wordpress 3.3.1

Please help me with this issue.. Thanks!

the thumb slides displays with the slide VIEW, not with the slide SHOW.

I installed Lazyest Gallery and Lazyest Slides. I went to Alternative Display and clicked Setup Slides as instructed in the directions and selected Carousel which is suppose to show thumbs slider above the slide. However, it does not work! I have checked the link you provided above and my footer.php file is correct. I would just like to know what else I need to do to get the thumbs slider to work.

No, you should install PHP5 becaues Lazyest Gallery needs WordPress 3.2 which needs PHP 5.

I can not seems to get the Slideshow with Thumbnails across the top to setup correctly. The thumbnail images across the top do not show up.

Ok, yes seems that was the problem. Lazyest Gallery appeared under Settings menu.
May be solved by adding old style constructors to the classes similar to:

function LazyestAdmin() {
$this->__construct();
}

Duh, it seems that I have PHP4 running on the server and it might not support the __constuct() form. I am now wondering how the rest of WordPress works there… Or does WP not use that form of constuctors…?

I found where the code is executing in \wp-content\plugins\lazyest-gallery\lazyest-gallery.php on the bottom of the file. In the if ( is_admin() ) I get log entry before $lg_gallery = new LazyestAdmin(); and after it, but I added logging to the beginning of constructor in LazyestAdmin and there nothing gets written…

Ok another point – I added logging to wp-content\plugins\lazyest-gallery\lazyest-gallery.php functions __construct() and init(), and they are never called. I think they should be called when the plugins page in the admin view gets displayed…? Why would this not happen?

Although in the same time the array $plugins in \wp-admin\plugins.php has “lazyest-gallery/lazyest-gallery.php” as one of items under “all”…

I tried going directly to
wp-admin/options-general.php?page=lazyest-gallery
and got
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
I think something was not done when activating the lazyest-gallery plugin, like missing entries in the DB. Trying to figure out what…

The Edit buttons were disappearing because the plugin files were not writtable. That was fixed, but
The Lazyest-Gallery still does not appear under Settings menu. The plugin appears as Activated in the plugins table…

I have installed the plugin. Created a couple of folders and added some picures (alreadry resized so they are not heavy) to each folder and uploaded it, and it is suppossed to be shown at the site uRL: http://www.aalborgsportscafe.dk/?page_id=416
U might wanna have a look yourselves to see the problem.
But it doesn’t show the pictures when the folders are clicked, it only shows the name of the picture, e.g, “picture1.jpg” “picture2.jpg” and so on. and when clicking a “picture” this shows up:

You don’t have permission to access /Galleri/CafeenBliverTil/DSC02112.png on this server………. What the ~~hell~~ is happening?

Hey, thanks for the answer.
Of course the internet connection theory was false It is the same also from other computers and in other nets.

I will check what is with the rights, although supposedly nothing was changed and I am still shown as administrator in the users page. I’ll take a look in the DB… Probably the files are also the same on the server and on my local installation. I’ll confirm that too…

Can’t say what’s wrong. If you don’t have ‘edit’ links in the plugin list, maybe somethings wrong with your user rights and capabilities.

Hi, I just installed lazyest gallery (copied the files through ftp) then activated the plugin. Got the message that plugin was activated, but it did not appear under settings menu. I doubt this is Lazyest gallery problem as it seems no plugins in the plugin list have the “Edit” link.
Could it be related to my internet connection? I am on win7 in a “public” place. I got this idea because I have wordpress running locally with lazyest gallery and other plugins and everything seems ok there.
Any other suggestions?

Not sure if it was reinstalling or the new version, but in either case it’s working now.
