The asynchronuos thumbnail creation introduced in version 0.16.5 created a lot of troubles on some servers. When a user uploaded many images by ftp, the server got bombarded by many requests for thumbnails. This could, in some cases, result in a very high memory usage, internal errors and wrongly created all black thumbnails or even no thumbnails at all.
In version 0.16.7, you will have an option to create cached thumbnails after the gallery page has loaded in the browser. By default this option is off.
Check this only if you are sure your server can handle the extra load.

For Lazyest Gallery 0.16.5, I made some small changes in the way (cached) thumbnails are created. In previous versions, all thumbnails were being created at the server while computing the code for this page. On galleries with many new images, this could mean long download times or even blank pages because of a PHP time out. Now, all images cached or uncached will be created asynchronously after the page has loaded in your browser. This will improve the total loading time of your gallery dramatically.
Version 0.16.5 als contains bug fixes to display folder and image captions in the broswer title bar. Thanks to davidddn.
When you experience a “white screen of death” like discussed below, you need to update to version 0.16.6.

In WordPress 3.0, the thumbnail gallery paging fails. Please download version 0.16.3 when your blog is running on WordPress 3.0.
In 0.16.3, it is also possible to have HTML code like links in the folder and image captions. The caption no longer links to the image (slide) page.
Lazyest Gallery is NOT compatible with WordPress 3.0 Multisite

Lazyest Gallery 0.1.6.0 is almost finished. It took a while because the entire plugin is encoded again. This version includes the long awaited pretty permalinks for the gallery. Folders and photos will now appear as subpages of the gallery. Please note that it is not possible to use WordPress subpages of the gallery page.

Well, that was a hefty day today. Version 0.15.0 was perfect in testing, but it got totally screwed up when I copied it to the WordPress server. Any edit or bugfix only made matters worse. I have now uploaded all the right files and called the new version 0.15.1. So you won’t get confused.
I have ran all test scripts against this new version and it came out with flying colors. 0.15.1 is now active on this site.
Below again a summary of the new features:
Save the new features and bugfixes, the ids and classes for the Gallery have changed. Please check your stylesheets if you have added styling to the gallery
