Finally, Lazyest Gallery 1.0 reached beta stage. The file manager now includes the long awaited Flash uploader is now available in the Lazyest Gallery File Manager. Please try it and write a comment below of it works on your site or not. The asynchronous thumbnail creation is now javascript driven. It is not as fast as you might expect but it can handle hunderds of new thumbs, something that would create errors on the server if you would try to create them ‘on the fly’. The asynchronuos thumbnail creation introduced in version 0.16.5 created a lot of troubles on some servers. When a user uploaded many images by ftp, the server got bombarded by many requests for thumbnails. This could, in some cases, result in a very high memory usage, internal errors and wrongly created all black thumbnails or even no thumbnails at all.
In version 0.16.7, you will have an option to create cached thumbnails after the gallery page has loaded in the browser. By default this option is off.
Check this only if you are sure your server can handle the extra load.

Many users found a bug in the Lazyest Gallery comment system. After a user posted a comment on a folder or an image, Lazyest Gallery didn’t come back to the originating page. This bug has been fixed in version 0.16.4
The Lazyest Gallery edit screen has been tweaked so it now also shows the number of images in sub folders.

A bug in the Lazyest Gallery Admin screen prevented the Gallery edit permissions to be updated correctly. Only after refreshing the page, you could open the Folder screen to manage your images. Another bug intervered with the Images table sorting capability. Clicking on the table header did not sort the images.

Version 0.16.2.1 fixes another sorting bug for subfolders.

Also, Lazyest Gallery permalinks are disabled when index.php is in permalink structure.
