Permissions Granted

A bug in the Lazyest Gallery Admin screen prevented the Gallery edit permissions to be updated correctly. Only after refreshing the page, you could open the Folder screen to manage your images. Another bug intervered with the Images table sorting capability. Clicking on the table header did not sort the images.

Update
Version 0.16.2.1 fixes another sorting bug for subfolders.

    Hey Marcel,

Noticing an issue with image captions and how quotes get escaped when put into the title attribute of img tags. There are some unnecessary slashes getting included. See: http://www.genfab.com/photo-albums/2010/kawagoe%20geocaching/, 1st row – 4th column (and many many others).

    Cheers
    Scott

“Reset Options” doesn’t seem to work and I’m trying to get the “Use Permalinks for the Gallery” which doesn’t have a help entry. My site isn’t a “typical” one – the wordpress folder is a subfolder, and the gallery image folder is therefore a “../images” folder, while the actual gallery page exists as a page in the root, so all of this together probably messes it up, I’ll have a look and see if I can find out why.

Also getting permission errors when checking the bottom-left lazyest gallery pages – since I can’t reset the settings I don’t know why :)

Oh, this is also from updating too – I’d rather like to reset the settings (and don’t mind losing the descriptions although I’d prefer to keep them) so if there are instructions for how to do a full reset of settings for Lazyest, I’ll implement them and see what happens.

you may ignore these warning messages. Go to Settings->lazyest gallery and create your gallery.

Just to grab the dev’s attention – look at my two comments on the first gallery page (immediately after the ‘Gallery’ link is clicked)

Oh, and I hate to be a pain, but I noticed something else. When older comments are set to be displayed first and a new comment is submitted on any of the pages, the comment is not visible because the first page is shown. The comment is saved without issue though.

        It’s me again. :D

I’ve also noticed the ID of folders change when you modify the login requirement/hide folders checkboxes in the admin panel. This causes the comments to no be shown.

I’m just trying to help this software get better. :)

Ok, I’m happy to report that I was able to install it correctly and that I can use it, the only think I can’t get to work is the Lightbox or thickbox to work (I installed both plugins and activated them), the only way I could make it work was installing “auto-thickbox plugin”, but I don’t really like that plugin, is there any other thing in the lightbox ot thickbox plugin settings to make them work with LG?

update: After reading what I should have read in the first place (the complete instruction notes) I believe after doing what’s there it will work, if not I’ll say something again, sorry for asking something before making sure it’s well installed.

    Hello,

I searched a lot for a gallery plugin for wordpress and I read some great things from LG, the problem is that I’m really new to WP and I can’t get it working, I uploaded it to the Plugins folders, activated it but I keep getting this error in the LG panel:

“Warning: opendir(/hermes/bosweb/web246/b2468/d5.jfcrg/public_html/wp-content/lg-gallery/) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /hermes/bosweb/web246/b2468/d5.jfcrg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/lazyest-gallery/lazyest-gallery.php on line 532

Could not find any image folders in your Gallery.
Please create a New Folder below

I can’t create folder nor understand what is happening, it seems something related to a wrong path info, can you please advise me on what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks for your patiente.

    Fred.
