28 July 2010Hey, it must be something like that. If I manually create a slide and thumb then everything works as normal. It would appear that the script cannot generate slides or thumbs for images this size?

27 July 2010Hey Marcel. I’m having a problem with version 0.16.0.5
I am trying to add some images to the gallery with large dimensions (2000 x 4300px) and 1.80MB size. When they are uploaded the folder does not show on my site. Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks
developer
27 July 2010Hi Chris,
Your images are probably just too large (in pixels) and PHP will run out of memory shrinking them.

1 June 2010I went ahead and upgraded to Version 0.16.2.1 but it seems to conflict with my websites main menu drop downs. Is there an easy fix for this, or should I go back to the previews version that worked for me?
Marcel
17 March 2010to all,
Please check if 0.16.1 solves your problems

14 March 2010H Qad im, I’m still searching for a soluton to your problem.
I can’t reproduce the error on my systems.
Adam
12 March 2010Ohhhhh Noooo!
My slideshow stopped working too! It says “loading” – then…nothing! I checked my footer.php file too!
HeLp!!

12 March 2010I have the folder set the same was as before in “settings”, but selecting “Lazyest Gallery” brings up: “Could not find any image folders in your Gallery. Please create a New Folder below.”
To test things out, I deleted the thumbs created under the last version I had (15.?), then tried “Generating missing Thumbs and Slides” – they weren’t generated. Ughhh!

12 March 2010Could you please share the URL of your gallery page?
Adam
12 March 2010The pics are in wp-conent/uploads/LazyestGalleryPiper. Lazyest automatically picked ?page_id=2 for my gallery – although I really don’t want to use it – I’m only interested in the slideshow function right now.

12 March 2010Yur gallery doesn’t show any pictures either.
Are you sure all settings are correct?
Lazyest Developer
12 March 2010is it wp-conent or wp-content ?
marcel
12 March 2010The functionality of Lazyest gallery depends on a properly set Gallery page.
Adam
12 March 2010I do have it set – I just don’t have use for it, but it’s there. The slideshow is what stopped working with this update.
Adam
12 March 2010Tried creating a new folder even though all pics and a thumb director was in place (and Lazyest in settings acknowledged the folder – didn’t say it was missing). Now, the Lazyest Gallery panel under “Media” is happy, but pics still don’t show up.
Lazyest Developer
12 March 2010Have you tried to edit the widget in WordPress?
Adam
12 March 2010Not the current version – a while back, I edited something in a javascript within Lazyest because the pictures weren’t appearing properly.
marcel
12 March 2010please check the widget settings in WordPress Admind
Adam
12 March 2010Yes, I did check there. I’ve spent a lot of time with it. It’s set up just like it was before updating earlier tonight.
Adam
12 March 2010Here’s what I’m finding – I created ANOTHER subdirectory b/c Lazyest Gallery kept saying ““Could not find any image folders in your Gallery. Please create a New Folder below” when the pictures were stored right in LazyestGallery (as they have been for months under the former version. So, now I have “wp-content/uploads/LazyestGalleryPiper/my_new_pics/”
If I set my Gallery Folder to that director, the site locks up and Gallery just keeps trying to load. If I set the Gallery folder to the parent directory (“LazyestGallery”), NO pictures load but the site doesn’t lock up.
Adam
12 March 2010Sorry – wrote that backwards – the site DOESN’T lock up with the the settings and the Gallery Folder points the the subdirectory required by Lazyest Gallery under the Media tab, but NO pictures show up.
Lazyest Developer
12 March 2010Maybe you’d better re-install version 015.6.1 until we’ve found out what could be wrong
Adam
12 March 2010Hi Marcel,
I played around with the new version and the 15.x version for quite a while to try to figure this out. I completely removed the plug-in when switching back and forth. I did get the new version to work for a few minutes, but it got messed up when I removed pictures via ftp. Since then, I removed all pictures and directories so that lazyest could rebuild the thumbs director – it just would not function properly under the 16.x. It get locked up on “loading” as I’ve described before. Simply removing the plugin and putting the 15.x version back gets everything back on track. I can’t find anything on my end that was set up wrong, particularly with fresh installs. I really like the ability to “do nothing” when clicking on the thumbnail! I really look forward to being able to use the current version! If I can help with any further info, just let me know!

10 March 2010I just upgraded from version .15 and noticed that I can no longer make top level folders/albums from the WordPress interface, but the new folder box does appear to work for subfolders. Am I missing its new location, or was it removed for some reason?
Thanks
marcel
10 March 2010it’s missing. I’ll fix it asap
Chris
10 March 2010Hey, has the problem about gallery items always being above post content been fixed?.
Thanks
marcel
10 March 2010yep, see above
Chris
12 March 2010Brilliant work Marcel, thanks very much
