Version 0.15.1 is here
Admin, Bug, Comments, Compatibility, Features, Javascript, XHTML Add commentsWell, that was a hefty day today. Version 0.15.0 was perfect in testing, but it got totally screwed up when I copied it to the WordPress server. Any edit or bugfix only made matters worse. I have now uploaded all the right files and called the new version 0.15.1. So you won’t get confused.
I have ran all test scripts against this new version and it came out with flying colors. 0.15.1 is now active on this site.
Below again a summary of the new features:
Save the new features and bugfixes, the ids and classes for the Gallery have changed. Please check your stylesheets if you have added styling to the gallery
In this release:
- Descriptions for images. You will have the ability to add more lines of text to describe your images. Next to the caption, the description will show on slides pages and in slideshows. You can activate the description input area by clicking on the ‘edit’ link in the ‘Edit Lazyest Gallery Folder’ screen.
- User friendly Admin screen for first time users. When you use Lazyest Gallery for the first time, you don’t have to fill in the URL for your gallery page anymore. Just select the page from a drop-down list. Lazyest Gallery will also check if your Gallery directory exists and create one if you wish.
- Large number of option table rows into one. Note! After installing 0.15.0 you cannot rollback to a previous version without losing your settings.
- Less files in plugin. For a faster download and update.
- Detecting Lightbox and Thickbox plugins. The latest versions of the most popular lightbox and thickbox plugins should now be detected.
- Clear cache. You can remove all slides and thumbs at once by clicking on the ‘Clear Cache’ button in the Settings screen. Thumbs and slides cache will clear automatically when you change the maximum height and/or width.
- Folder Images. The images for folders used by Lazyest Gallery have been replaced by smaller blue stock icons.
- Bugfix for incorrect height for thumbs for portrait images. slides and tumbs were sometimes displayed with heights larger than the maximum height. This has been corrected.
- New classes for the gallery. Please change your stylesheet accordingly
#gallery→.lg_gallery#top_navigator→.top_navigator#lazyest_navigator-→.lazyest_navigator#pagination→.folder_paginationand.image_pagination#lgpow→.lgpow#lg_powered→.lg_powered
And what to do now? In version 0.16.0, the much awaited for pretty permalinks for the gallery page are going to be available. Note: pretty permalinks will only work on the main gallery as set in the Lazyest Gallery settings. They will not work on galleries or folders you have inserted on other pages or posts.
hi,if check roles allowed to manage images and folders, they also can edit and delete all the folders.I think this so dangerous. So is there any method to resolve this?
maybe I’ll expand this functonality in a future release.
Hi Scott,
I see, I guess the error is on wordpress side, I have never uploaded the 0.16.0=probably tag……
Looks like the answer is “no” – don’t do WordPress auto update if it says 0.16.0-probably. I had the same problems as the 0.15.0.x releases.
Also – lgpow class is being used for the Powered By LG text, not lg_powered.
Ummm – WordPress.org shows the version as 0.16.0-probably… is that the same as 0.15.1?
