Bugfixes for Lazyest Gallery

Comments, Compatibility, XHTML Add comments

I have fixed some bugs in Lazyest Gallery:

  • Invalid link for the [lg_image ] shortcode when a value for width or height is found in the shortcode.
  • Invalid HTML for the thumbs table
  • Small touch up for » in the breadcrumb trail
  • Comments working OK now. (Could not find anything wrong when I tested 2.8 again)
  • Folder thumbnail views in posts have been enclosed by a <div> with class post_folder for more css tweaking

You can find version 0.12.2.5 in the Wordpres Plugin Repository

I think I found a bug. I’m currently running a fresh wordpress installation on my localserver (using UniServer). I’ve installed the gallery, but whenever I try to activate it, Apache automatically stops. I’ve tried over and over again, it just wouldn’t work. Did reinstallation of WP… when it comes to activating, it(apacheserver) turns off. Only happens with this plugin, everything else works fine.

    Using: http://www.uniformserver.com/ 5.3Nano
    Server Version: Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) PHP/5.3.0 DAV/2

Do you think its a problem because of PHP 5.3.0?

Just as I suspected, its an issue with PHP 5.3.0. I just tested it out, and it works fine with 5.2.11.
So this issue only happens with PHP 5.3.0, hope you support it in the future updates :)

When do you think it’ll be ready?

I have Lazyest gallery setup and all is good except for the “Check roles allowed to manage images and folders” in the Upload options. I checked all roles from administrator to subscriber but I now want to change the settings to only allow the administrator and editor to upload, however it will not let me de-select the other roles. Once I untick them the setting are saved and the page re-loads with all of the roles still checked. How can I fix this?
    Thanks.

Will you be adding the option to upload multiple files at once? With jQuery (included in WordPress) this should be easy to implement. Please let me know I you can do this in the short term, because I need a way to bulk upload soon, and I suppose the zip option will take even longer.

An option to move/rename folders would be nice too.

I’m installing the latest version on (12.2.5) on WordPress 2.8. I’m finding that when I am logged in to WordPress, everything works great. However, when I’m not logged, all the sidebars from my theme end up underneath the gallery. Can’t figure out whats happening.
