Bug fix for blogs running on windows servers
Lazyest Gallery 0.12.1.5 fixes a bug where Lazyest Gallery incorrectly assumed https protocol on Windows Servers. Also, on some Windows Server based configurations, the Lazyest Gallery admin screens didn't show on WordPress 2.7.
These bugs have been fixed in version 0.12.1.5.

17 January 2009Ok figured something out. When you have cformII javascript enabled for the calendar (Popup Date Picker) it’s conflicting with the slideshow for some reason. It’s working now. As far as comments still having problems with it being adding under a specific image or image folder.

18 January 2009Sunshine & Others,
There are some known issues that I’m working on at the moment, but haven’t been able to fix in a sufficient way yet:
1) permission errors while writing
captions.xml files2) slideshow coflicts with other javascripts. Especially those that do not adhere to the worpress rules of enqueuing scripts
3) forever loading of the slideshow on folders with many images
4) inaccessibility of management pages

17 January 2009Thanks Tom. Same problem. Checked in different browsers still says loading… also I’ve seen this on some other sites using Lazyest. Strange. Also comments are checked as enabled also. A person is able to leave a comment, but it’s not being added to the correct image or image folder it just shows on the main page for the gallery for example /gallery/
I also noticed in IE on the status bar it gives a js line error for this line:
jQuery(function($) {$(document).ready(function() {$(‘#lg_slideshow’).crossSlide({sleep: 2, fade: 1},[

16 January 2009Sunshine,
If you are using FF with NoScript you have to permit the script to run. At least this one thing I experienced. I also upgraded LG to the current version and for whatever reason failed to check the admin page to allow comments.

16 January 2009Any answer as to why the slideshow is just showing loading… and why the comments are not being displayed under the correct image or image folder a user comments on?

5 January 2009Yes comments show fine on the blog(s). The problem is that when a user does comment, once it is approve it is posted automatically to the photo gallery index
/gallery/ and not for that particular folder or image the person commented on.
Also I noticed that the slide show is only saying loading… and never loads the pictures.

5 January 2009Having trouble with comments going under the selected image or folder, it goes directly to the main photo index? To be more specific if someone post a comment under an image or under a folder the comment show in admin moderation that the comment is posted under the main folder /photos/ for you it would be /gallery/.
Is there anything particular that needs to be set or changed so that the post will go under wherever it was actually posted?

5 January 2009Sunshine,
Do your comments show up alright on your blog?
You can access comments per folder or per image from the Lazyest Gallery Edit screen by clicking on the comments bubble.
